If you have been seen by a speech and language therapist as a private patient, you should make your complaint directly to the therapist in the first instance.

CORU

CORU is the body that will be responsible for regulating health and social care professionals. Its role is to protect the public by promoting high standards of professional conduct and professional education, training and competence through the statutory registration of 12 professions. CORU is currently developing a system of registration for health and social care professionals, including speech and language therapists. When this process is complete, you will also be able to make a complaint to CORU.
