How to complain about an ambulance service in Ireland

In general, ambulances are provided as part of the emergency services (when you call 999 or 112). They are generally used to transport seriously ill people to hospital or between hospitals.

Private ambulance services are also available in Ireland, while voluntary ambulance services are often used to provide emergency care at public events.

Find out more about complaining about ambulance and paramedic services organised by the Health Service Executive (HSE) and ambulance services provided by a voluntary or private organisation.

Conas gearán a dhéanamh faoi sheirbhís otharcharranna in Éirinn

I gcoitinne, soláthraítear otharcharranna mar chuid de na seirbhísí éigeandála (nuair a chuireann tú glaoch ar 999 nó ar 112). Úsáidtear iad go ginearálta chun daoine atá go dona tinn a iompar chuig an ospidéal nó idir ospidéil.

Tá seirbhísí otharcharranna príobháideacha ar fáil in Éirinn freisin, cé go n-úsáidtear seirbhísí otharcharranna deonacha go minic chun cúram éigeandála a sholáthar ag ócáidí poiblí.
